Jennifer Cihi is no stranger to the stage, starting with a national tour of “Annie” at age 10. Even then, Jennifer knew that a career as a singer was her destiny. Apparently, so was fighting evil by moonlight. Jennifer provided the singing voice of Serena, Sailor Moon herself in the popular ’90s anime series. Jennifer has also lent her singing voice to other anime titles, including theme songs for City Hunter and Hayao Miyazaki’s Princess Mononoke (the English version of “The Tatara Women Song”).
In live action, Jennifer was an actor and singer on the Nickelodeon series “Roundhouse”. The success of the show led to a nomination for an Ace Award in the female artist category. Her success there led her to sing the national jingle for the first “Hot Pockets” commercial. For 15 years, you can hear her voice in that unforgettable theme, as well as other promos and theme songs across television.
