Excessive levels of Speedwagon! Ha. As if there could be such a thing.
We’re heading closer to that magical date where we’ll finally get to see the Phantom Blood anime. Previews have dropped off a bit, as follows, but the producers, Warner Brothers, website has loosed a few more character sketches. We have the always illustrious Robert E.O. Speedwagon.

When I initially saw Dio and especially after that really awful preview image of Dio and Johnathan that’s on the official site’s main page, I was a little worried about costume design and art, and this has helped with the costume design. The white suit with red vest is just fancy enough so that it falls into JoJo’s fabulous without becoming JoJo’s gaudy. The art isn’t perfect with Will apparently able to furrow his brow so hard his eyebrows are at eye level on the upper bridge of his nose, but the outfit is pretty good.
